Redmond Fire & Rescue ambulances are staffed with State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and/or Paramedics. Depending on the severity of the medical emergency, either an EMT or a paramedic ambulance will be dispatched to your emergency. Fire engines are also staffed with State Certified Paramedics who in addition to their firefighting duties, assist our ambulance personnel on high-risk calls such as cardiac arrests, traumas, and motor vehicle collisions.
