Redmond Fire & Rescue provides fire, rescue, and ambulance services to an estimated population of 50,000 within the City of Redmond and the surrounding rural district including Terrebonne, Eagle Crest, and Pronghorn. We respond to over 6,000 calls a year and approximately 80% of 911 calls for our District are for medical emergencies requiring a response from one of our five ambulances. These emergencies include illness, injuries, and events such as:
- Cardiac arrest
- Stroke
- Abdominal pain
- Broken bones
- Falls
- Motor vehicle collisions
Ambulances
Ambulances currently respond to emergencies from three of our four fire stations:
- Downtown on Dogwood Avenue
- Off Highway 126 near Cline Falls State Park
- In Terrebonne
Covering an area of 294 square miles.
Redmond Fire & Rescue ambulances are staffed with State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and/or Paramedics. Depending on the severity of the medical emergency, either an EMT or a paramedic ambulance will be dispatched to your emergency. Fire engines are also staffed with State Certified Paramedics who in addition to their firefighting duties, assist our ambulance personnel on high-risk calls such as cardiac arrests, traumas, and motor vehicle collisions.
