A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Redmond Fire & Rescue (the “District”), Deschutes County, State of Oregon, to discuss the proposed budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 9:30am at the Redmond Main Fire Station located at 341 NW Dogwood Ave., Redmond, OR. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. The committee will reconvene, if necessary, on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 9:30am. A copy of the budget document will be available online and at the Main Fire Station by the end of the business day on Friday, June 2, 2023.
The District is planning to hold this as a hybrid meeting that will be in person, but also available for live viewing. Any person may call in to the meeting to discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. The District welcomes anyone to submit testimony, questions or comments on the budget document. Comments must be received by June 5, 2023 to be included in the Budget Committee meeting and by June 20, 2023 to be included in the Board meeting where the final decision will be made on the budget.
