Attending Meetings & Public Comments

We Welcome Your Participation & Attendance At Redmond Fire & Rescue Fire Board Meetings

Thank you for taking an interest in your local fire district. We welcome your participation and attendance at our meetings.

Regular Fire Board Meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. Meetings are hosted in the District's conference room located at the main station, 341 NW Dogwood Ave in Redmond. Meetings are also accessible virtually live through GoToMeeting, visit the Agendas & Minutes page to access the link.

Want To Speak To The Board?

The Board accepts comments from citizens during the regular meeting each month. Anyone wanting to address the Board can do so through the following options:

Verbal Comments...

  • In-Person: Complete a comment card located at the Sign-In table in the conference room and submit it to the Administrative Assistant. No other pre-registration is required.
  • Virtually: You must pre-register by 3:00 p.m. the day before the meeting. Email your comment request and topic to PublicComments@rdmfire.org. A virtual meeting link and phone number will be provided.

Each member of the public is generally provided 5 minutes to address the Board.

Written Comments...

  • Send written comments to PublicComments@rdmfire.org. They will be included in the Board's meeting packet if they are received by the second Thursday of each month. Written comments received after the second Thursday will be added to the next regular meeting packet.

Please note, it is the role of the Board to listen and not necessarily engage with those providing comments. However, they will usually direct you to staff to assist with follow-up (as necessary).

For questions or additional information, please contact the District Recorder, Diane Cox, at 541-504-5020.

Anyone needing accommodation to participate in the meeting must notify the District Recorder at least forty-eight (48) hours prior to the meeting by phone, at 541-504-5020, or by emailing diane.cox@rdmfire.org.
